Equipment

I’ve been using a focusrite but I want to switch to something a little more hybrid by using an analog mixer into a DAW or some variation of that which incorporates both parts. I like the sound of the analog gear and I find it easier to work with. Has anyone had any experience with this and has any gear recommendations or advice to offer?
Thanks

Video

Does anyone know where I can currently get a hold of some form of copy of “The 12 string guitar of Roger mcguinn” instructional video as it’s not available anywhere online or for sale anyone I can find in the uk. Thanks

Saving up

I’m sure this is a common question but I’m currently saving for a Rick 12 (330/360/370) and in the meantime I’d like something as an alternative. I know it’s better to not spend while I’m saving but oh well haha as it’ll take ages. I’ve seen the Danelectros and some squier and also a gretsch and also the Harley Benton one but I was wondering what is the best option anyone has found. I understand the ricks have a distinct sound but I was just wondering the best I can get in the meantime with a compressor and a good amp etc. UK based also
Thanks

Jeans altering

I’ve recently bought a pair of baggy bootcut jeans but when they arrived they had a much larger leg opening than expected. I want to make the opening slimmer while retaining the flared cut of the jeans which would probably mean resewing the inseam. Is this possible or doable for someone with only a sewing machine or is it not doable and/or is there a better way?
Thank you
