Based on the beloved 60s American cartoon. Shoeshine Boy by day, caped superhero dog by night Underdog was essentially a parody of Superman before superhero parodies were even a thing. The humour is campy and self-aware but genuinely clever, built on wordplay and absurdist logic that holds up surprisingly well. Simon Bar Sinister and Riff Raff make for a great villain duo, one a mad scientist, one a classic street thug.
