My dad got rear ended by another vehicle on highway and ICBC is trying to get my dad to pay damages to the vehicle that rear ended him

I am still fuming because my dad who is in his late 70's got rear ended by a vehicle behind him on a highway, he got out, took pics of both his vehicle and the other car's as well, while the driver of the Porsche just sat inside the car and told him o hurry up. My dad didnt incur any damages so decided not to file a claim (something that he should have done and it came back to haunt him). Long story short, a month later, he got an email from ICBC saying that the driver of the Porsche has field a claim and is seeking damages and if ICBC can have permission to share my dad's info with the Porshe driver so they can negotiate and come to an agreement directly and it would also be 'cheaper' to deal directly instead of going through ICBC. Anyways I sent a long email email to ICBC citing laws, rules for rear end situations that are in the ICBC manual. It's been more than a month and we still have not heard anything about this claim. My poor dad is shaken and is traumatized and has very little faith in ICBC now, even though he has always had an impeccable driving record. My question is can I do anything further for him, we have not sought legal advice yet, but can go through that route if needed as a last resort. We are absolutely repulsed with how this was carried out by ICBC.

P.s. I work for the provincial government and to see another crown corporation doing this to the general public, especially to our elders is just heart breaking. I will not be letting this go.

Colleaque is driving me crazy

Been working for this particular miniatry for the past 3 years, I have a work partner who has been here for 8 years and has the same designation as me currently. She has always had control issues, becomes bossy, rude and condescending. I used to brush it off or ignore it in the past, however it has really started to affect me in terms of mood changes and I have reported her to my manager and she apprently had a talk with her but alas she is still doing it and manager's response is she is blunt and I will tell her to be gentler but the thing is there is nothing gentle about the way she behaves in IM's and emails, in person she is fine though. Anyways I have asked for a transfer to another location because clearly things are not getting resolved. I also feel it really sucks when you are a junior in comparison to another person who is more senior than you (in age slightly and also number of years working). I guess I am just here to rant because I feel the manager keeps brushing it off. Alot of her work partners befofe me quit and asked for a transfer and a person who still works there came back after returning but refused to be her work partner and has specifically told me that she retired early because of her. I love working in this office, people are fantastic, it's just this shifty attitude from this colleague that is just affecting me repeatedly, I have cried about this in the past, have had sleepless nights.I guess I am just here ranting. Does any of you have similar experiences?
