Im building a tool which auto updates docs and the AI chatbot answers by citing the docs itself.
Do you recommend its better to keep it this way or let the chatbot connect to internet?
The app im working on is not my first product, infact its a second SaaS and one of the many projects i did. Before landing on this, i had built games, tried machine learning, did another SaaS products, nothing stuck long enough to actuallybe published.
The problem was not with the product but the execution and marketting itself, poor marketing, demotivation and burnout led me to scrape every projects i started.
i was always shy of presenting my half polished, raw app to users, thats why i never got around to publish the app until it felt decently finished.
The earlier product? built, deployed, had some users, but took it down.
This very project i was working on, it had a waitlist signups for genuinely interested ones, but i scrapped the form anyways, why? because i was shy. i felt real users trying would mock it and would never come back.
guess what, who came back? no one. not even a single person.
the app currently went live few days back for beta testing, no users, no talking about the app, no feedbacks, it was just me and my trial accounts.
Anyone else stuck in this loop? building then hiding and complaining about no users?
