Advice on dioscorea elephantipes seeds
I've been wanting to get a caudex for a long time and I like the way Dioscorea Elephantipes look like a turtle shell, but the price of one grown as well as shipping to Toronto is pretty expensive so I started to look into seeds. This seller seems pretty good but before I buy I wanted some advice on growing the seeds. I live in an east facing (unfortunately) apartment in Toronto Canada so it can get really cold in the winters and pretty warm in the summers, would germinating and growing it be viable? I would also like to ask how I would grow the seeds. I've looked around for similar posts so I know a little about dormancy and how I should keep it out of direct sun while its a seedling, but I'd still like to know more about what soil to put the seeds in, how often to water etc. I'd really appreciate any help :))
