I haven't done speedruns before so i want to know. Do i need to complete the whole game 100% or just get to the end of the final mission? Is it still considered a speedrun if I don't do side missions?

It seems impossible to me. I managed to fly it for a few seconds on a Staunton-Shoreside bridge to get a hidden package early (after like a hundred tries and landing in the sea instead) , but can't fly with it and stay on air. Is it even possible, has it worked for any of you?
