Hey everyone,

​I’ve been seeing a lot of mixed opinions on Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories lately, and it honestly feels like a 50/50 split. I didn't realize so many people in the community don't really rate this game or just dismiss it as a "boring" entry in the franchise.

​Personally, I absolutely love it. For me, it brilliantly builds on the 3D Universe and delivers a massive hit of nostalgia. My introduction to the series was GTA 3, so playing Liberty City Stories for the first time felt amazing because it built directly upon that world while giving us a whole new perspective through Toni Cipriani.

​Instead of just letting it get lost in the shadow of San Andreas or Vice City, I think it deserves credit for what it pulled off, especially considering its roots as a handheld PSP title.

​What are your thoughts? Do you view it as a genuine classic that holds up today?

For context,I am doing a replay of all the 3D era GTA games until GTA V,so forgive me for referring gta v in the sub,but to those that also played it through,is it just me or did the driving AI in GTA 3 behave the same way in GTA V?

I would find that especially whenever taking the porter tunnels,traffic would just randomly switch lanes,especially into yours,so if you're doing missions like D-ice "rigged to blow" or asukas "espresso 2 go"(N.B I do Staunton-shoreside-portland)or just travelling through,they would randomly switch into your lane just as u get close to them,making u hit them and damaging the car you use(especially when using high speed cars like cheetah or banshee)

I feel like this was a rockstar thing to do,as in GTA V the same happens,tho it would be rarely, but its there,just to piss players off,and it worked,so I thought maybe it started generations back and was just ignored until recently

Hello, it's me again. For those who remember i was stuck at 98 packages. I found 1 in an alley in Chinatown as I suspected but can't find the last one. Is there a mod that shows it on the map? I'm playing the og version on the pc

Hello, I have a stupid question about 100% completion. I'm playing the og pc version. I was trying to beat the vigilante mission on shoreside and didn't manage to kill 20 criminals in a row. I killed 20 in multiple attempts and got the 2 bribes at the hideout. Does it count for 100% or I just got the rewards and need to do that again continuously?

It seems impossible to me. I managed to fly it for a few seconds on a Staunton-Shoreside bridge to get a hidden package early (after like a hundred tries and landing in the sea instead) , but can't fly with it and stay on air. Is it even possible, has it worked for any of you?

Killing Kenji seems to really come out if left field. Anyone else feel that way?

There are so many versions of this game, and a multitude of mod fixes. I have been searching the internet for the best way to play this game modern day, and have been met with some pretty scattered results. GTA PS2 emulated, modded definitive edition, OG PC port, etc. As someone just wanting to revisit it, I don't know where to even begin. The community has poured so much love into this game over the years.

So, what is everyone's setup? How do you personally best enjoy this classic?
