EVERY TIME I revisit the harbor, my Gatlian points out the pirate ship from inside Gessie. Even though I’ve already visited the harbor multiple times after beating the game. Hopefully they patch this out sometime soon.

I’m actually pretty safe since the Metal Gears in the background don’t attack you.

I’ll go first: a Blim City stage.

You’re fighting on top of Mr. Keep’s Pawn Shop’s sign. The floor isn’t a blast zone, it’s a sidewalk with a bunch of NPCs at the bottom; if you fall, it instantly hits you with 30% DAMAGE and kicks you back up into the air at high knockback! A zipline is at the top of the stage, and if any player jumps near them, KNIFEY will trap you and zip you to the left or right edge of the screen! You can only escape if you mash over 300 buttons in the span of 3.5 seconds, and even if you make it out, you can’t use your double jump when you’re tryna get back onto the sign! Every 20-25 seconds, Tweeg’s RV will zip by around the top at practically LIGHTSPEED with no warning symbol, dealing 80% damage to anyone who gets hit by it! Every 45 seconds, warp crystals grow on the sides of the sign, and if you touch one, it warps you 1 foot above the NPCs I mentioned earlier!

And if you play the Battlefield or Omega form? YOU’RE NOT SAFE! Bleeding Star Lizzie is in the back, and she’s constantly using Harper to shoot a fighter! She switches targets every 10-15 seconds. And if you think a cozy little shield will save you, THINK AGAIN, because Lizzie will just fire one of Harper’s Glob Shots, which’ll instantly break your shield and stun you!

• Tryna use USBLGX.
• I properly set Ocarina on, the hooktype to AXNextFrame (also tried VBI and GXDraw, didn’t work either), set the video to Force NTSC, and set the IOS to 250.
• I don’t have a Brawl game disc, I’m loading WBFS from a USB drive. It’s correctly formatted to Fat32. My Wii U’s SD card slot is broken. The Brawl WBFS is NTSC and Rev 1.
• It used to give me a black screen saying “Instruction at 0x800264ec (read from SRRO) attempted to access invalid address 0x20 (r ead from DAR)”. Apparently the gameconfig.txt file was the issue, I fixed it and it no longer gave me the error. So, that was 1 step in the right direction since it no longer crashed, and 2 steps in the wrong direction because it booted vanilla Brawl.

I brought the 3 Video Game Legends with me to the final boss, too! I managed to keep Sonic alive all the way until I actually came face-to-face with Galeem and Dharkon. I died in the middle of the final fight and finished them off with Pac-Man.

I also like how it let me use more menu music, Ultimate’s default menu music just gets old after a while.
