loop-the-loop Mario Kart Wii custom track?

I thought for certain I'd seen a custom track for Mario Kart Wii which included a loop-the-loop, but I didn't make note of it. It would have been a track in one of the custom distributions I have: Retro Rewind, Insane Kart, or Mario Kart Wii Deluxe X. I think the whole loop was a boost pad. Anyone know of custom tracks that include a loop-the-loop section? I'd like to play any of those tracks with my kid.

I ranked every Mario Kart cup. Is this offensive or not?

P.S. 3DS Toad Circuit is a good track, stop acting like it assassinated your family or something. P.P.S. 3DS RAINBOW ROAD IS JUST OKAY, STOP ACTING LIKE IT'S YOUR GIRLFRIEND AND IT SAVED YOUR LIFE FROM BEING ASSASSINATED TOO, BUT IT COULDN'T SAVE YOUR FAMILY!

Proof that Mario Kart fans will argue over anything

Can we talk about how amazing this key art is?

I don’t even have a switch 2, but this artwork is so fun it makes me want one just for this game. I love the curved perspective to show the giant world to explore, the massive group of characters showing the action that doubling the racers brings to the series, how the not only the characters, but also the karts look so bouncy and alive. It’s just so great!

Tbh NPC drivers could had been less arguable if Nintendo promote them correctly

We know they're adapted from in-game track obstacles and promote as NPCs. Honestly, it is a fine and cute idea to have colorful creatures in driver seat.

So what makes the general roster controversial is how NPCs being the only newcomers, and consider the base game price isn't cheap, or let's call it a standard price. If consumers need to pay standard price for new game, I think such game project should put some real efforts in creating new contents including the drivers. The base roster would had been very all-around if we not only get newly introduced drivers but the NPC drivers as side dish. It feels like NPC drivers were put in hate target but they didn't have to be like this.

I'd use Metal Mario and Pink Gold Peach as the examples, they're cheap clones and would not do harm if Nintendo promote them as bonus contents. But Nintendo sometimes put them as independent unlockables or purchaseables that are better for unique characters.

Super Smash bros' assist trophies could serve as a different example, where Nintendo officially acknowledge them sharing existed movesets but are allowed to participate, which wouldn't make fans think they didn't earn their fighter invites.

I Pulled 2 Coins in First! MK8D

Excuse my bad driving, I assume this was due to lag as it took ages for me to even end up with the items...

8DX vs World discourse is really stupid

I've seen a bunch of posts of people asking which game is better and there are always so many comments that are like "8DX is definitive Mario Kart, it has 96 tracks" or whatever. There are also people saying World is better, but there seems to be less of those. Either way, I find this way of thinking really stupid and not helpful for people asking these questions. What I'm gonna describe here can be broadened to giving recommendations for any piece of media, but it's really apparent with 8DX and World.

Both 8DX and World are great games, but despige being part of the same series they are very different. Depending on what someone wants from Mario Kart, either one of those can be better. It's like if someone asked if they should play Street Fighter or Super Smash Bros, there is obviously no definitive answer. If you think this comparasion is exaggerated, just hear me out.

8DX provides great classic Mario Kart experience, arguablly best in the series. Controls are great, especially drifting, and track selection is really good despite quite a few bad tracks. There is also the fact of it having most tracks in the series, 96 in total. There are some flashy shortcuts, but majority of tech doesn't look much different than normal driving. I'm not saying tha tech is boring in this game, it's awesome, it just doesn't look flashy which is important for some people.

World on the other hand is quite a stand out in the series. Rails, walls and new trick system add so much tech, shortcuts and paths to the game. Recently I played 8DX after only playing World for a month and lack of these things was very aparent. There are less tracks (not counting intermissions here), but on avarage they have more to them than 8DX with multiple paths and online viable strats. If you want to get into competitive, having 30 tracks instead of 96 makes it easier to start because there are much less tracks you need to know and there is a higher chance of tracks you practiced actually showing up in one of 12 races. I tried to get into competitive 8DX and having 96 tracks is so overwhelming, 30 is far more managable number. Rewind is also amazing for practicing things. There is also open world which is important factor for some people, I myself didn't care about it going in, but now I enjoy playing it from time to time.

What I'm trying to say here is that both of these games have their stregths and weaknesses depending on what you want. Somone wants bunch of different tracks to play on. Someone wants to do shortcuts with rails and walls. Someone wants 8DX drifting. Someone wants to chill out in open world. Also, one thing like number of tracks can be good or bad depending on what you want. It's ok if you have preferences and like either of these games more, I don't care. However, don't just blindly say to other people that game is better because they may not want same things as you. I do like World more, but I'm not gonna say to people "just get World, it's definitive Mario Kart". I also don't try to compare these games to see which one is better in the same way I don't try to compare Street Fighter 6 and Smash Ultimate, these games are just different in ways that makes the comparasion dependant on personal bias more than quality.

Some part of Nintendo has to favour bagging, right? (KO Tour)

This is largely a criticism of KO Tour, or rather, how the final gate seems to have an absolutely disgusting cut before it on a LOT of these Rallies.

The absolute worst being Cherry Rally and Boomerang Rally, but I feel like the end of so many of the Rallies is just... flawed I guess is the best way to phrase it?

Nintendo needed to do more with the final section exclusively on KO Tour to not discourage just driving forward. If the pack is close on Cherry or Boomerang Rally... without a shock you're just... screwed? This is assuming the players you're with actually know how to play and aren't really far behind.

Maybe it's related to how the item pool doesn't close as you go on which I honestly feel like it should do? I shouldn't be able to pull a Golden/Bill because I dropped to 8th when the others aren't that far ahead of me. That's stupid. Especially when excluding the Rallies that don't have a massive cut but just end with a straight line, like Ice Rally, Heart Rally, Cloud Rally and Spiny Rally.

I know it would be hard to include all the tracks and not have some entrances just be straight, but on the other hand I think some of the consideration for that should've gone into crafting the Rallies in the first place. Why IS Crown City an end track when the run way upto it is just a straight boost panel road with an enormous, literal straight line leading upto its entrance gate? Why does Spiney Rally have the runway to its final gate a massive straight line of water ripe for Bullets and Goldens?

It just strikes me as odd how the final runway to a lot of the rallies is basically set up to allow baggers or slower players TO take the gate from you at the literal last second of a 8+ minute race.

Part of me just thinks when it drops to 'Be top 4', Golden and Bullet should be simply stripped from the pool of items altogether, or have item boxes designed to not have them. If you're that far behind only a bullet could save you, you should lose.

Haven’t played the game in months, how it genuinely feels

Nintendo is the only video game company to ignore a blatant issue with their game this hard. Fans genuinely crying to fix the online but they won’t, game would probably have so much better reception if it weren’t for this. I’m tired gang

If Sonic Crossworlds Racing and Kirby Air Riders could offer vehicle customization, why couldn't Mario Kart World do the same?
