Funny headcanon I saw I bsky. Goombella would want to give Beldam the middle finger, but since she can't do that herself, she'd get Yoshi Kid to do it for her.
She's constantly bobbing back and forth, while most other partners have a much more subdued idle animation.

Vivian feels like a good candidate to me, but she's also much closer to Ralsei in personality.
She was the highest ranking non-mainstay on the Mario Wiki poll, and had a surprisingly good round against DK. She's obviously popular with fans, but do you think casuals would take to her the same way?

It would've been nice to see all of the Shadows (sans Vivian) giving it their all together to stop Mario.
I've said this before, but she's very clearly someone who's popularity is on par with the main characters. Nintendo needs to add her into the main cast yesterday.
God forbid people ask for characters they like to reappear, instead of being content with the same 20~ characters we've gotten in every roster for the past two decades.
