Least favorite character from every M&L game?

Prince Peasley: This guy is so full of himself and he can't even back it up. He gets trapped in an egg and turned into Dragohoho, gets eaten by a pirahna plant, and rigs the economy so he only owes the bros 99 coins after losing his bet.

Baby Peach: She has the worst crying out of all the babies in the entire game and does nothing to redeem herself.

Toadbert: There actually weren't any bad characters in BIS so he has to take this spot because he makes us do a few tutorials and his glasses look dumb.

Nommons: These guys make us play their stupid game for the Pi'illo masters. It gave me so much trouble in the past.

Starlow: She's at her worst in this game. Why does she feel the need to be a jerk to Luigi?

Adaphne: She's one of the ugliest characters in this game. She's a jerk too for trying to kick Technikki and the IDLE kids off of Shipshape.

Mario and Luigi bros moves in sss are underrated

I feel that no one talks about how original and creative and unique the bros attacks are in sss, like none of the other Mario and Luigi games have attacks where the bros just use themselves as an attack or just use their jump and hammers to attack enemies and also the bros attacks in sss are the hardest to pull off in my opinion which makes them really satisfying to pull off and I wish that they use those types of attacks in the future games again.

In the next M&L game what species of characters could the creators come up with??

In superstar saga we have beanish citizens mushroom people called toads in the mushroom kingdom pi'illo people which are just pillow people and in brothership we have concordians outlet plug people so in the next game what species of people could they do??

I was thinking of some plant people tree people mermaid citizens or some flower kingdom with flower like citizens I can't think of anything else if I could choose I would choose some tree or plant like people and maybe some ancient plant kingdom I actually love how the creators use diversity in the games.

They got super creative in brothership with the concordians and everything in it.

Mario and Luigi inspired rpg

Hello my fellow Mario and Luigi fans, I have been replaying mario and Luigi games recently. Notably finished Partners in Time and 100% Bowsers inside story and i might tackle 100% of dream team and superstar saga(the remake). And replaying these games is fun, they were a big part of my childhood especially bowsers inside story and a little of pit. Now, this may come in the far future, depends on what I do in life but I may want to make games, more specifically games of great quality for small prices. I want to make a Mario and Luigi style rpg game, and I have a few things from the series I want to use. Such as the battle style with 2 bros, dodging attacks and counters, special attacks, status effects, overworld and style of bowsers inside story from an artistic point of view, aka a similar pixel art style. If I do end up following through with this, I would change a few things notably being able to skip tutorials, faster or fewer cutscenes and adding a hard mode. What changes would you guys would like to see in a Mario and Luigi style rpg wether it’s a change, removing something or keeping stuff from the games that I should add/remove to this potential game? I would love your feedback.

Also, if you would like to have it be more in the style of partners in time or inside story (the battles especially, with four characters or a duo and a solo and overworld stuff) let me know.

Headcanon: I thought Cackletta was a professor at the university

When I first played the game aged maybe 10. Probably because she's fought there. And Fawful being her best "pupil". She definitely has the vibes of a corrupt teacher/professor..

What game did you start with

Now I'm just curious and I would assume from everything I've heard it's probably inside story but what was the first game you played I'll start for me it was brothership

Are there any indie Games like and inspired by Mario & Luigi RPG reflex fighting?

I have not seen a single game that has copied what to me is probably my favorite rpg battle system.

And I don't mean like Paper Mario where you can block, I mean like having the ability to completely skip damage, counterattack in the enemy's turn & control 2 characters at the same time. i’ve seen Games inspired by paper Mario. I’m looking for games inspired by Mario and Luigi.

something weird happened while i was fighting jojora in Superstar Saga earlier today

basically i defeated her "friend" boss but instead of giving me the win, the battle just kept going as if the boss is there. And when you try attacking something, it just crashes your game. I was able to restart it and defeat the boss normally the second time but this was a really strange encounter and wanted to share it here incase someone else found the same thing

Partners In Time vector portrait pt7

The brothers came to Yoshi Island, but it became more of a Jurassic Park when Yoob hatched!

Really this level was the predecessor to Bowser's Inside Story.

Yoob started of kinda funny, but became terrifying. What even was that thing living inside him? Let me know your theories.

See you next week!

Do people really find Elder Princess Shroob harder than Cackletta's soul?

I just beat Superstar Saga and Partners in Time one after the other, and while I found SS's final boss extremely frustrating, PiT's final boss was kind of underwhelming. I died dozens and dozens of times immediately when I would get to Cackletta's soul, thanks to the game reducing your health to 1. For me that easily made it the more infuriating boss. Elder Princess Shroob didn't kill me once, I just spammed mix and copy flowers. For perspective I was level 39 at the end of Superstar Saga and 31 at the end of Partners in Time, both played on original hardware. Which boss did you find harder?

Should’ve Jump Helmet replaced Dropchopper in Dream Team? Yes or No?

I don’t think it should because Jump Helmet would’ve been in 3 games. People would also feel like it would be repetitive to come back into the game, although it would do HELLA damage to Mammoshka. Thoughts?

Who are some non-villainous characters that you would like to see return in a future Mario and Luigi game, and how would you like them to be used?

In my case, I would like to see the following return:

Peasley and Dreambert- They would be rivals, which would strain the relations between their kingdoms, but they would later become friends.

Queen Bean- I would like to see her sister relationship with Cackletta explored in a game. She would bring Cackletta back to life with the Beanstar (Princess Peach making the actual wish.)

Pi'illoper- He would serve as a middleman between the Beanbean and Pi'illo Kingdoms, seeing he is associated with both. He would be a helper to Mario and Luigi similar to Starlow, Stuffwell, Snoutlet, etc.

Dr. Toadley- I could see him helping the Mario Bros. determine the next path they need to take on their adventure.

The Three Sage Characters of BIS- It would be nice to get more on their backstory.

Bedsmith- I would like to see him help the Mario Bros. in some way in a future game. It would be nice to at least have him as a cameo.

Brickle and Britta- I would like to see them have a minor role where they are having a spat with each other, but they both end up helping the Mario Bros. with a minor fetchquest of some type.

Do you remember your first time drinking from the fountain?

If you’ve played Dream Team, you know exactly what this fountain does. If you drink from it, you get a long, unskippable cutscene showing text that explains Mario and Luigi eating lots of Mushrooms and growing to ginormous sizes. Afterward, the game tells you that the brothers can’t get back to normal size, before the GAME OVER screen appears. After a few seconds, Dreambert wakes up Mario and Luigi, revealing that the entire sequence was a dream. Oh, and Mario and Luigi have their HP and BP fully restored.

Oh my goodness… I remember playing this in 2013… I was shocked to see the GAME OVER screen and almost turned off the power. Thankfully I didn’t! That’s an experience I’ll remember.

Did you know there’s a second dream that can occur? I forgot what it was about, but I do remember different music playing during it.
