here’s some insight into the creation of my track “Don’t Lie to Me” from my upcoming M8 album “Bad Vices” out 8/28! this is one of the standout tracks on the project to me — I especially love the “Plastic Love” sample that I used. Can’t wait for you to hear the full song!
my m8 album “Bad Vices” is coming out Friday, 8/28!! here is a little dive into the melodies and harmonies of the intro and some of my thought processes while making this track. hope you enjoy and tune in when it drops!
here’s a bit of the outro to my upcoming album Bad Vices. the lead melody is also muted in this clip. i sampled some electric pianos and degraded a few instruments because i just love that downsampled sound lol. the album should be coming VERY soon, aiming for a release in September. this has been the most fun i’ve had making a project thus far and i hope you all tune in for it 🥹
i decided to sample some 808s, kicks, hi hats, and snares typically used in rap to make this beat. honestly i could visualize some rap over this but it’s meant to stand alone as a song. i’m thinking about sampling/chopping some PaRappa the Rapper vocals too lol.
here’s my attempt at making a progressive house/EDM track for my upcoming M8 album Bad Vices. the main lead is muted here but this is definitely one of my favorite tracks so far. i love that i’m branching out with genres i usually don’t make for this project! hope you enjoy this snippet, the full version will drop with the album HOPEFULLY in the next few months :)
