New to Vinyl, dirty collection.

Good day all, Long time lurker, new to vinly. My mother in law and my parents both decided to have basement clean out days, and in the process, they were both going to toss out their records. They have not listened to them in over 30-40+ years.

I told them I'd take care of hefting their entire collection over to my place. After going through them, finding that most were moldy, I began doing research on how to clean them. Came across ultrasonic cleaners, and the results are amazing, fast, and stress free. This also coincides with me building out my first every stereo system (unrelated to the records) that I now get to listen to these records with.

There are some classics in there like Thriller and some nostalgic Dominican records my dad will probably love to hear again. I plan on inviting them all for a listening session once they are all, from research, cleaned and sleeved. Obviously, I'll need to figure out my first ever record player, tho funds are tied up in the sound system purchases at the moment.

Anyway. I thought the ultrasonic process was awesome. My solution consisted of 2 liters RO water, 1/3rd cup 99.99% isopropyl alcohol, and 1/2tsp dawn dish soap. After that, rinsed with RO water, gently wiped with lint free pepper and then placed in an old dish drying rack. Video doesn't show my whole process, just the mold being blasted.
