As an aspiring writer based heavily in research and Internet references I'm not sure how to use my remarkable paper pro.

I feel like I bought and $800 paper weight. I've had it for more than 6 months and still can't figure out how best to use it.

My writing is heavily research based which requires me to constantly cross reference, copy and paste etc.

The workflow on this thing that I have to use an android or pc in conjunction then save as a pdf through the app, then download to the tablet then copy, all for a single reference paragraph is too much.

Is there any other way, or should I face reality and get an ipad?

Carter and Oreana are the most unlikeable characters in the entire series.

I thought no one could top mopey Monica from Yellowstone, but these two together are the worst.

They add nothing but angst, drama and terrible decisions when they're seperate and when they're together I find myself wondering what even is the point of their storyline.

If only to add some youthful relatability, but if that's the case then it's an insult to young people.

The Google maps live alert notifications and reporting was a game changer on our cross country family trip.

Took my family on an epic cross country road trip over the summer literally from coast to coast. Spent over a month traveling and staying with family. It was amazing.

The maps live notifications made a huge difference as I was alerted very reliably about objects on the road, police speed traps, construction etc.

You should never use it as a means to speed, but everyone knows the feeling of being surprised by a trooper and hitting the breaks.

Knowing if there were police ahead so I could double check my speed and make sure I was good was great.

Also there were several times I came across debris on the road, even a ladder. I was almost always alerted first and kept a watch for it.

Being able to actively report these things for other drivers was kind of fun too as a gamification and kept me on the lookout.

Just a PSA for the other roadtrippers out there.

Why does my soprano ukulele sound so pure and my tenor sound has so much resonance?

I started on a cheap soprano and wanted something with a bit more warmth and mellowness.

Yet for some reason to my ear my soprano sounds so much more pure and the sound cuts through directly than my tenor.

I realize the tenor is bigger and there is more reverberation but I feel like the sound has so much resonance and airyness it's not as enjoyable to me.

Could this be an issue with the strings or body, or both?

What aspects of clinch can you apply if you're on your back in a grappling situation?

Anyone who's trained bjj or wrestling found useful crossover from Muay Thai clinch?

I think things like cross face, shin shield etc

Omnisphere3 Not being able to search unless I fill out the questionnaire, click the magnifying glass, then click the search bar is a real time killer.

The extra layers is a workflow killer. I can't simply search samples and have it default to "all" is a huge pain.

Instead I have to take extra steps to narrow it down.

Also having our own user samples essentially stuffed into a corner of the search menu is a huge time killer as well.

If your company has zero or 1 or 2 clients. What's the angle on your site when it comes to displaying your non existent portfolio?

Every established site I see displavs icons links or case studies of clients as a way to establish credibility.

What is the best way to communicate credibility if you have little or no clients?

Do you have any examples of how successful startups managed to turn site inquiries into customers even with no portfolios?

Nightmare client and want to cancel active contract. Nothing has paid. Will it reflect poorly on score?

Definitely a nightmare client that I don't wish to continue doing this work for.

This milestone has not paid out and is active.

I want to contact and let them know I can't meet their demands and would like to cancel. Of course they keep anything I've done and we just call it quits.

Money will be refunded and they can find the right freelancer.

Can this in any way reflect poorly on my score. Can they retaliate in any way?

Solo founder. I can't seem to convert meetings and inquiries to deals.

I'm having a hard time converting or finalizing a deal after initial contact and subsequent meetings.

Meetings always seem to go well with seemingly genuine interest from potential clients

For one reason or another, besides outright disinterest there's a trend of every potential sale falling through.

I've considered being too ambitious, or not ambitious enough. Too detailed or not detailed enough and a mvriad of other things.

Have you experienced any of this in your early stages. What did you realize and how did you get over that hump?

And is there a way to analyze my approach to help determine what that weak point might be?

Is anyone using chatgpt as a full life and business organizer and scheduler. What's your setup?

I have a million things, ideas, to-do's from life and business and have integrated a lot scheduling into chatgpt.

Due to its format it's not the most scheduling and task list oriented design.

I have essentially used it as an assistant/business diary in order to ask it for a daily task or " what should I work on today".

To a degree it works, but it's lacking in ways.

Have you found success in using it this way or are there other alternatives that you integrate?

What's a good software I can demo audio for clients from different speakers and rooms?

I've found a program called speakerphone by audio ease which does almost exactly that but comes with a significant price.

Are there other cost friendly options that I can simulate different speakers - from mobile to laptop to megaphone etc and different rooms?

Though they don't need to be combined.

I think a lot of posts on here are AI

Specifically the posts with what looks like purposefully bad writing. No capitalizations, grammar, etc but,

" heres how I grew my 1k a week company into a fully automated business. it isnt the scope but the process.."

It's basically impossible to not capitalize on mobile or desktop and with autocorrect.

It seems almost like every other post here.

I really don't get what the purpose is, if it's AI.

Training AI models?

I'm assuming most new generated content, business sites, blogs, web Pages, information, product news, case studies etc is AI or AI assisted in creation.

SEO prioritizes based on authoritative information, but if all the information is AI what happens then?

I've been searching for a way to learn songs where I can see the chords and finger placement images over the song lyrics.

Most apps only show the letters of the chord which I hope to eventually learn but as a beginner it's helpful to see the chords too.

This makes it easier to play as I go without having to constantly stop to look up the finger placement.

Are there any apps where I can input my own songs like this and place the appropriate chord finger placement above the lyrics too?
