I recently inherited $35,000 from a family member who passed away, and I’m not sure what to do with it. I would like to invest, maybe? I’m honestly a super-noob with this sort of thing and I want to do more with what I’ve been given than letting it sit in savings, but I’m also terrified of losing it if investments go bad or something.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.
