I'm just wondering what rule variant you guys would suggest for 2 player riichi? Mainly looking for a casual ruleset thay leans towards mimicing real riichi rules. Use case being teaching basic riichi rules to new players (not that im not a new player lol just trying to spread the good word) and just also for quick lil "in-between" games. My own research came up with just removing 2-8 sou tiles and no chi which i think is how 2-3 players is often played but for teaching someone its kinda awkward to explain why theres only 1 and 9 of this one set. How playable would 2 player riichi with the only rules modification being no chi?
