Hi! Just started working for an EN firm and have had a very low response rate on all my outreach emails and follow ups. Ig it makes sense since these experts get so many emails and LinkedIn messages, it’s really easy to ignore or mark as spam
To experts who receive outreach from these EN firms, what makes you more likely to respond and engage? (Shorter emails, description of what the firm does, subject lines, etc?)
Also how can I ensure these outreach messages don’t sound scammy / like they were generated by some bot?
Starting an internship in Midtown this summer (~$15k for 10 weeks, housing not included) and living in LIC. Since I’m receiving no financial support from parents and trying to prioritize saving up money this summer, does anyone have any advice on affordable living in the area (cheap grocery stores, free activities, saving hacks, etc.)?
Living in upper west Hoboken, NJ and will need to commute 5 days/week to Midtown East (near E 44th and Madison Avenue). Is this feasible and if so what is the most affordable/efficient route?
