Starlink in a motorhome – is it really worth it?

I’m currently going back and forth on Starlink and curious to hear what you’ve all experienced – maybe I can’t see the forest for the trees right now 😄
A little while ago I signed up for a combo package with the large home antenna and the Starlink Mini for on the go.
The large antenna works great, no complaints there. What caught me off guard though: after just one month the price jumped straight from €59 to €75. Nice little surprise…
With the Mini the situation looks like this:
€10 base fee per month just for it sitting on the shelf
Mobile data costs another €19/month for 100 GB
Only runs on 230V – so for us that means landline power only, which pretty much kills any spontaneous use
And of course: clear line of sight to the sky is a must – as soon as trees get in the way, the signal starts struggling
All in all I’m wondering whether this thing is actually worth it for us or if I’m just throwing money out the window.
How do you handle it? Had similar experiences or got any tips I might be missing?
