I need help. im scoring well in neet and ive been suggested to start researching colleges by my teachers. Ive heard a lot of people regret picking their colleges regardless of their degree so i wanna be able to make the best decision for myself. Ive never really looked into it, and because the rank is so unpredictable this time i dont even know where to begin. What factors do i need to consider while picking out my preferences? Ive looked at some nirf ranking data and cutoff trends but idk im so lost (scoring 650-655)

i did my coaching from Aakash right, but after 3rd may allen had announced a free test series. I took it under a false name cos i didn’t want to get caught up in some weird t and c bs. After the exam i got quite a few calls and texts asking for my score under my false name. When i told them that they had the wrong number they insisted on knowing my actual name. Even when I used their rank predictor (while it was still in its development stage) it autofilled the info i had used to register to their test series. Im guessing a lot of people from other institutes enrolled in those tests and thats why allen is now claiming their scores as well. Some could’ve even given false results, idk but that could also be why they haven’t published pictures and names, they don’t have access to that info.
