This Saturday my ex is getting married. We were together for 16 years and are still best friends. We got together when we were 18 so we are pretty intertwined in each others families, so my two younger brothers and parents will be attending the wedding. My ex and their partner are afab non-binary and have a lot of queer friends coming to the wedding. Though my parents have seen me in a long kilt-like skirt once they’ve never really seen my queerer side I’m taking this as an opportunity to “out myself” a bit more.

I’m currently leaning yellow skirt with knee highs because it feels more fun and summery. Though tulle and tux is a pretty cool one too, but feels a little boring and might be too warm…

Any ideas for how to style and accessorize as well as general I put much welcome! 🤗

ETA: the dresscode is ”not too formal, what ever makes you feel fabulous”.

Study trip in Rome with architecture school! The tulle skirt has been working surprisingly well in the 30C heat.

Found this green crop top hoodie at a second hand shop and then “accidentally” bought new green shoes. Thought they went pretty well together. I’m liking this kind of sporty look! Not quite visible are my green nails and ear rings with green splatter :)
