(AC8 Online Spoilers??) You all need to beat AC6.
Not because it's an amazing game that is extremely underrated within the franchise. (It is.)
Not because playing it's easier and more accessible than ever before. (It is.)
But because you all are HORRIBLE at the Ace Combat 8 Online Chandelier Emergency Sortie my GOD.
I swear if I see another Morgan score less than 10k in this thing I'm going to eat my controller.
ALL of it's TGT's are BIG so USE your MG to HIT THEM (it's VERY EASY!)
When the BARREL CHAMBER is OPEN you HAVE to fly INTO the BARREL from the FRONT.
It has a LOT of HP so STOP hitting RANDOM STUFF and FOCUS the BARREL CHAMBER (unless you are in a fighter I guess.)
When HITTING the BARREL CHAMBER you DON'T have to CRASH and DIE into it, you can use your YAW to fly OUT of the BARREL from it's SIDE GAPS (Dying wastes TIME!)
The BARREL CHAMBER has TWO PHASES. The FIRST ONE is the MAIN ROADBLOCK for the WHOLE SORTIE because it has A TON of HP and GATEKEEPS the rest of the SORTIE.
When the first BARREL CHAMBER phase is over, BACKUP COOLING becomes a TGT. You can HIT THEM by flying into a tunnel BELOW the CANNON. Fly LOW between the RED STRUCTURES in front of the Chandelier to ENTER (They don't have much HP tbh so you can leave skilled attackers to take care of them.)
You can also ENTER the tunnel from BEHIND Chandelier.
The SECOND PHASE of the BARREL CHAMBER is what will end the Sortie. From what I've seen, you'll NEED at least ONE MINUTE of FULL FOCUSED FIRE to destroy it (I said it has a TON of HP!!!)
It's easily the hardest Emergency Sortie from the ones we have, but I swear I only managed to destroy it once. Not because of it's difficulty, but because people genuinely don't know how to hit the damn thing.
Farming all the SAMs and AAs give you a ton of points, sure, but make sure you know how to actually clear the sortie before focusing on farming scores.
ACF already released gameplay of it so if you struggle with it you can go watch that video to learn how he approaches all TGT's.
