Rain on a dark forest window has become my favorite background for sleeping 🌧️🌲

I've always found it difficult to quiet my mind before bed, so I started creating long ambient videos with natural sounds.

This one is simply 10 hours of gentle rain falling against a window overlooking a dark forest. No music, no talking—just steady rain and a peaceful atmosphere.

I made it mainly because I couldn't find exactly the kind of ambience I wanted for reading, meditation, or falling asleep.

If anyone here enjoys calming rain sounds, I'd genuinely appreciate your thoughts on whether it feels relaxing enough or if there's anything you'd improve.

Thanks, and I hope you have a peaceful day. 🌧️🍃

Does anyone else find rain on glass more relaxing than heavy rain outside?

I've been experimenting with different sleep ambiences lately, and I noticed something interesting.

Instead of loud rain, I made a very dark cabin scene where the focus is mostly on rain sliding down the windows, with a soft fireplace in the background. I also kept the room much darker after some helpful feedback on my previous post.

There's no music, no talking—just rain on the glass and a gentle fire.

I'm curious what everyone prefers before sleep:

• Rain on windows?

• Rain on the roof?

• Fireplace crackling?

• Complete silence?

Here's the video if anyone wants to try it tonight:

POV: You found a rainforest where the waterfall drowns every thought.

There’s something strangely comforting about rain at night.

No notifications. No conversations. Just the sound of water, dim lights, and thoughts you stopped explaining to people a long time ago.

This feels like the kind of place where time slows down.

Where you stop pretending you’re okay for a while.

Where silence doesn’t feel empty.

I think everyone secretly wants one night here — away from pressure, expectations, and noise. Just existing with the rain and letting the mind breathe.

What would be going through your mind if you were sitting here alone tonight?

There’s something peaceful about watching water forget where it came from.

Standing here for a few minutes made everything quieter inside my head.

Just the sound of rushing water and a moment where nothing else mattered.

Sometimes calm doesn’t come from silence — it comes from nature being louder than your thoughts.

Anyone else put on rain sounds at 3am when their brain won't quit? Made this for exactly that night

It's 3am and you're still awake reading this.

Here's what I made for exactly that moment.

A dark pine forest outside. Rain running down every pane of a big black-framed window. No music sneaking in. No ad breaking the silence at 3am. No jump cuts. Just one continuous dark rainy window, all night.

I've been building a small sleep ambience channel and this is the one I'm most proud of — the window grid picks up every individual raindrop and the forest fog behind it makes it feel like the rest of the world has completely disappeared.

If you need somewhere quiet to send your brain tonight, this is it.

🌧️🔥 It’s raining outside… but inside, everything is warm and quiet

I set up a live cozy cabin stream tonight — rain falling softly, cherry blossoms outside the window, and a fireplace keeping things warm inside.

No talking. No ads. Just a peaceful space to slow down.

If your mind’s a little noisy or you just want something calm in the background, you might like this.

Just uploaded a 10-hour ambience of a stormy ocean view from inside a cozy cabin. Heavy rain, crashing waves, and a warm fireplace glowing in the corner.

There’s something strangely calming about chaos outside while you’re safe and warm inside. The sound of the ocean feels deep, almost hypnotic—perfect for sleep, focus, or just unwinding after a long day.

I tried to keep everything natural and immersive—no music, just pure rain, wind, and waves.

Would love to know: Do you find storm sounds relaxing or a bit too intense?
