Artix problems

So I just got artix and I already have a bunch of problems

First of all I can't enable networkmanager

Second of all I can't install any other DE than XFCE

And lastly I can't run sober it says something along the lines of opengl drivers

Also I wanted to go to archcraft and when I made a bootable usb with sudo dd I booted into the usb and it just brought me to artix

Extra note I use runit

Hopped on the best arch based distro

I just found this distro archcraft and it's insanely good, it looks modern and has everything arch has. It's also easy to install.

10/10

Day 4

I distrohopped to Arch (manual installation) which took me a while with a broken arm but I did it, now I can use manual Arch on my alt laptop

I plan on testing Artix

Day 3 of distro hopping

After a bit of a fight between me and Debian not wanting to be removed I have Fedora! It's nice, has rpm, looks nice and easy installation like Mint

Day 2 of distro hopping!

Today is Debian and it's actually really nice because of .deb files, but I hated the installation it took way too long, longer than Arch tbh.

7/10 for the OS

0/10 for installation

I did it

I finally did it guys, I got arch linux.

I used archinstall however, and it actually went great! Now I have KDE Plasma and Hyprland (idk how it works lol)

Idk if my school will like it tho, also the new laptop is very nice, 2 GPUs and an Intel I7 5th gen (not extremely good but still good)

New laptop

So my current laptop is dead (like so dead screen won't work) and I asked my school IT for help and they couldn't do anything about it bc it's my own laptop

Tho now I'm trading that old clanker for a Dell! (Idk about the specs, person js said he'll trade it for free)

I'm sure it has Windows on it and now I'm asking, should I install Linux on that one? Some people said that I can just use Microsoft apps on browser and Teams as an app. So should I do it? Also I'm planning to use Arch Linux for extra note.

Also how much GB USB should I use

Linux installation

So basically I have this old laptop which barely can run Windows (sound changing doesn't work and it's currently dead cuz screen won't work) and I'm thinking about installing Linux, should I do it y'all? And if I do can I still use Microsoft Teams, Word or PowerPoint?
