Day 2 of distro hopping!
Today is Debian and it's actually really nice because of .deb files, but I hated the installation it took way too long, longer than Arch tbh.
7/10 for the OS
0/10 for installation

I'mma start distro testing in linux till I find perfect one and put on main laptop. Today is linux mint and it was a 5.5/10 cuz it's ez and looks like windows. So byeeee and see ya on next distro: Debian. After Debian I'll go for Fedora and so on
How do I make foot terminal transparent?
I finally did it guys, I got arch linux.
I used archinstall however, and it actually went great! Now I have KDE Plasma and Hyprland (idk how it works lol)
Idk if my school will like it tho, also the new laptop is very nice, 2 GPUs and an Intel I7 5th gen (not extremely good but still good)
Welp I need help again
How do I make sure I don't dual boot while installing arch linux on the same SSD with Windows
So my current laptop is dead (like so dead screen won't work) and I asked my school IT for help and they couldn't do anything about it bc it's my own laptop
Tho now I'm trading that old clanker for a Dell! (Idk about the specs, person js said he'll trade it for free)
I'm sure it has Windows on it and now I'm asking, should I install Linux on that one? Some people said that I can just use Microsoft apps on browser and Teams as an app. So should I do it? Also I'm planning to use Arch Linux for extra note.
Also how much GB USB should I use
So basically I have this old laptop which barely can run Windows (sound changing doesn't work and it's currently dead cuz screen won't work) and I'm thinking about installing Linux, should I do it y'all? And if I do can I still use Microsoft Teams, Word or PowerPoint?
