Long runs - race time recs?

Just wrapped up a 17 mile long run (76 degrees F average temp, 80% humidity) with some 9:45ish pace miles for the last 7.5 miles. Zone 2 for me tops out at ~157 bpm, and zone 3 tops out at high 170s for reference.

Ran just over a 2 hr half a few weeks ago (also in the heat and humidity) as I was just about halfway through my marathon training block for my race in Oct and wanted to do a time trial at a “comfortable” pace a little slower than my target race pace.

I still have about 10 weeks to go before the race - what are the chances that if the weather is 60s and less humid I could break 4 hrs? Ave mpw right now is 35ish, will max out around 50 mpw before taper.

Marathon Training Buddy?

Is anyone training for the MCM and/or Richmond Marathon this fall? Looking for folks to run long runs (15+ miles) with on the weekends (usually early Saturday mornings, but Sundays also work). Pace is generally somewhere around 9 to 11 mins/mile depending on the weather and distance.

I usually run the cross country trail, W&OD trail, etc but open to exploring other routes too!

3 months to marathon - what’s possible?

I (28F) ran my first marathon in 4:36 a few years ago at Space Coast on a particularly warm & muggy day in November in FL. I’ve moved and had some pretty tough injuries in the last few years (including a third elbow surgery about 2 months ago), but I feel pretty well recovered now and have been doing about 25 mpw with 1-2 speed sessions, 2-3 easy workouts, and 1 long run per week. I’d estimate current half marathon pace in this summer heat on an average course is about a 2:05 or so.

Assuming training plan goes as planned and I build up to ~45 mpw before taper, do we think it’s possible that I could break 4 hrs for the marathon? Any tips (other than fueling and gear) or changes to this plan y’all would recommend?
