I put in a Report Vehicle Maintenance log into Intoxalock prior to my breaks being done at a new mechanic. I waited at the shop while my car was getting done and after getting my keys back the IID said violation.

I contacted Intoxalock immediately and they said they would reimburse me the violation fee and the vehicle maintenance report would be sent in to the State DMV with the violation.

The State sent me a letter notifying me of the violation and 30 days added on, but that I could write in a dispute.

I sent in the invoice, a letter received from the dealership and a letter explaining my situation.

What are the odds the State reverses the 30 days added on? The invoice and letter from the mechanic corroborate that the occurrence was during the service.

Bothered the mechanic shop had no care and circumvented the process even though I made them aware of this seriousness, but it is what it is now and I will use a shop that is familiar with the Intoxalock units.
