Lauren and Joey

Is this the first time since granger danger that Joey and Lauren have a duet in starkid? I'm trying to think back to previous shows but can't think of any other show they have a duet. I thought of priceless in vhs but idk if that'd count as a duet

I love tomb quest so much, i've already watched it 3 times and the songs seperately once. I am obsessed and i'm definitely renting it again. Tgwdlm was my favourite since i first saw it in 2018 but tomb quest might beat it, its so fucking good, i wish i could see it live.

Has anyone read this? Is it worth it?

I got curious about fics longer than 1M words and I stumbled onto this. I'm very intrigued to read this so i just wanna ask if someone here has read this if its worth it, before I commit to reading 2.5M+ words

Looking for someone to collaborate with

I'm working on a fic that takes place in the last of us universe. Don't want to say too much about it but one of the characters will have a journal that would have short entries, poems and small drawings (think of Ellie's journal in the last of us part 2). The thing is while I'm fine doing the writing part, I'm not great at drawing. If anyone's interested in helping me out with that, please let me know. I really want this to work out because I think it could be so cool but it wouldn't be the same without the drawings so if I can't find anyone to help i'll probably scrap the idea about the journal entirely after I attempt to draw something and it looks like shit lol.

Looking for a beta reader

I've started writing a new fanfiction. It's an AU in the The Last Of Us universe. There are a few ships but none of them will be the main focus. It'll be very angsty and a lot of deaths as one can expect from the marauders in the last of us universe.

It's my first real attempt in writing angst and hurt/no comfort so I'd really appreciate some feedback.

I've only written chapter 1 for now but would love some feedback before I continue it. So if anyone's interested in beta reading the first chapter, let me know!

I know it'll never happen but I've watched a few jukebox musicals lately and the thought popped into my head and just thought it was funny and wanted to share it lol

Low budget is better?

Is it just me or is low budget better for starkid productions? I'm not saying they don't deserve the support they get and how much they've grown over the years. I mean, every year I make sure I have around 300 dollars to spend on their kickstarters.

But I just rewatched the original guy after only having seen the remount a couple of times (every version they've posted and live in london) and idk the low budget really does it for me. It feels more intimate and just better imo?

While I really love NPMD and Cinderella's Castle, I do really miss their lower funded musicals. It just feels more like starkid to me. I don't really know how to explain it.

I do wish every success towards starkid and I will always support them in any way I can.

In a world full of AI, Starkid keeps art alive and for that reason I will always have money to spend on starkid but I do really miss the smaller theatres, the simple sets, the simple costumes,...

Is it worth it?

Playing on grounded and low on ammo and resources. Is it worth it to trigger this room to open by using the workbench to get some ammo and such from this room or will it be useless bc of the ammo i'd have to use to take out the people in this room?

Just saw tgwdlm in london

2 things.

Ivan might be my favourite hidgens. I've never really liked the character that much and never really found him funny in any way but Ivan had me laughing in my seat the entire time

Does Ted make the 'thats what she said' joke every night? Because that was hilarious

Anyone if theres friendship bracelets/art work trades between fans

The past 2 years with starkid innit and icbiballtay i traded artworks with other people and I framed them and i'd like to do the same this year but I don't know if many people will do that?

I made a bunch of lords in black bracelets and I'd happily give them to anyone even if i don't get anything in return but I'd like to know if it happens for tgwdlm too or if that was just for the concerts?

Is it too much to combine 3 fandoms into 1 fanfic?

I'm working on a low stake fic that i ramdomly thought of and impulsively started writing. The main fandom is marauders and all main characters will be from the marauders but the story is heavily based on one of the life is strange games and then I'm also adding elements from something else entirely. Personally I really love it but I'm worried that it's overkill. Especially since the 3 fandoms are so different from each other

Nothing feels better than succesfully turning someone into a starkid fan

I've showed my boyfriend nearly all starkid shows and he liked them but never suggested himself to watch starkid. We watched the proshot of guy when it came out for purchase and today he asked if we can watch it again and he's not usually the type to rewatch stuff so this came as a complete surprise to me. Next week we're also seeing it in london so i think he really likes it
