Should get pdi or not?

Like the title suggests im getting an i20 asta(o) ivt and the delivery is soon.

I can get a pdi done tomorrow if needed. Do yall think it’s necessary to get it done or it isn’t necessary?

Also please drop few suggestions on where to get pdi from.

Hey everyone, planning to buy an i20 soon and I’m confused between the regular i20 Asta(O) and the i20 N Line (mainly N6/N8).

I’m currently in my final year of engineering and the car will mostly be used in Bangalore — both now during college and later after graduation as well. So this is probably going to be my primary car for quite a few years.

My usage will mostly be:

city driving/traffic

occasional highway trips

college commute

weekend drives with friends

What I’m really trying to understand is how big the real-world difference is between the two engines.

A few things I’d love owner feedback on:

Is the Asta(O) really that weak for highway overtakes?

In daily Bangalore traffic, does the N Line actually feel significantly better?

Does the turbo make a huge difference in normal driving or only when pushing hard?

Does the NA i20 struggle with 4-5 passengers + luggage?

Will I regret not getting the N Line after a year or two?

The reason I’m leaning towards the Asta(O) is because it feels:

more premium overall

better value for features

more comfortable as a daily

and honestly more sensible for my usage

The N6 feels sportier for sure, but I’d probably miss some of the premium/features from the Asta(O).

Would really appreciate opinions from people who’ve driven or owned both, especially in Bangalore conditions. Looking for practical ownership experiences more than spec-sheet comparisons.

Thanks!
