She starts off rambling about how she knows she won’t make it back to the gym while one twin is yelling over her…
I follow SimonSits - she’s a foster dog mom. Her own dog, Simon, has cancer and they stopped treatment. She went out of town for a book signing - she actually IS a New York Times Bestseller - and she received a couple of awful comments about leaving her dog - he was home with her fiancé, she didn’t just leave him at the house alone.
Anyway, this made me think of our J-ME. She has no friends or loved ones to prop her up when she is criticized - fairly or unfairly. And it’s her own doing. She really needs someone to sit her down and really, really check on her. She claims to be in therapy, but we all know that she is not. It’s just sad.
I stumbled upon this movie on Hulu the other day and absolutely loved it!! Jamie Dornan, Emily Blunt, Jon Hamm, and Christopher Walken are so good!
So she’s sitting in her car talking to the camera in that cringey voice saying that she feels the stigma, she’s tried church, she has haters that are trying to cancel her, and that she hopes to help more women when she comes back from her break… Good grief. Just grow up and do the right thing, J-ME. Your time as an ‘influencer’ is done…you and Douglas need to become responsible adults, go back to work and take care of your family like the rest of us.
My six year old granddaughter went to have an abscess on her lower back lanced four weeks ago. The doctor ordered an ultrasound to see how deep it was and then a surgeon ordered an MRI. The infection was in her spine and the doctors were shocked that she could still walk.
She has been on vancomycin for four weeks and had a follow-up MRI on Monday. The neurosurgeon told us that she now has abscesses on all sides of her spine as well as in her pelvic area. She had a second surgery on Thursday to drain the ones on the outside of her spine. She has a drain tube and a wound vac. She will have another surgery in the next day or two to drain the ones in her pelvic area and on the inside of her spine - they are hoping to be able to insert a needle instead of having to cut her again. They will be going in from the front this time.
I need to know if this is something that is likely to reoccur?
Will this affect her growth? She is rather petite as it is.
Will the infection in her pelvic area cause issues with menstruation when she gets older?
Is she considered a carrier now? My son - her dad - is a carrier. He had MRSA while deployed with the Marjnes in 2008.
I am immune-compromised as I have Lupus and other autoimmune diseases - what precautions do I need to take?
Is there anything else that we need to ask her infectious disease or surgical team?
