I've noticed that my post karma is barely moving relative to the upvotes my posts receive. For instance, when a post gets around 5 upvotes, my actual post karma only goes up by 1 or 2.

A few questions about how this works:

• What is the actual upvote-to-karma ratio? I know it isn't strictly 1:1, but is this level of diminishing return normal even for low upvote counts?
• Does vote fuzzing play a role in making the displayed upvote count differ from the actual score calculated for karma?
• Does the timing or origin of upvotes matter (e.g., account age, rapid voting, or specific subreddit settings)?
