Renovation time

It's a little beat up from play, but regardless I'm extremely happy to have gotten this barn so cheap! This barn is a like a 2-in-1 bonus for me. Get to have an old barn AND fix it up!

Now I get to take it apart, clean it up, fix the broken parts, then get right down to customizing! I have so many ideas, but I'd love to get more!

What do you think would be cool to see in a customized breyer barn?

It doesnt even have to be practical! This is going to be a display and photo barn only! No play! Well...maybe a little bit 😁😁😁 I'm already having some fun with it!

First time felting + second

I had always wanted to try needle felting, so I gave it a go with my friends character. I enjoyed it as much as i thought i would, so now im making one for me!

They have a metal wire core, so they are poseable! Clothes made by me. Shoes are real leather!

It started with a Just One

The conversation started about model horses, which lead to my childhood and how I had always been dying to have a collection of breyers and how id stare at the online catalogs for hours, which lead to "This ones cheap, but broken. I know how to fix things, maybe I can fix it up!", and then it all snowballed from there. Today marks one year since I started buying breyers and making my inner child happy.

What do you think of my collection? Its mostly cheap ones bought in large lots, but I feel like ive gotten lucky with some of them!

I also know ive got more laying around somewhere, waiting to be put up 😅

I think my favorite of my collection is the Sweet Confession Hackney pony! I just love the perked pose and the paint job on it 😍

Cut slab

So i bought this rock slab at an Antique shop years ago.

I have no idea whaf is going on here, never seen anything like this.

This is a hard rock, does not scrape off easily. I dont know what the actual texture is in this face because it feels like whoever had this before put some kind of top coat on it.

I wasnt even sure this was was a real rock, but the outer rim is definitely rock. Gray in color, extremely rough, bumpy and ridged, unsmooth surface.
