I will not have to take out a loan or anything for it but i'm still hesitant to spend so much on a degree from vit, especially since the last couple years have been bad for placements (which was seen overall but still). My question is whether placements for 9 pointers have been good (if i manage to keep my cgpa hogh for 8 sems), and whether the roi will be worth it. your own experiences or your peers are appreciated.

because my jee was messed up so was my comedk vit is now my only option. but the seniors at reddit and general reddit community really seems to be against vit as if its the worst college in india. i dont mind the strict rules etc i am just concerned about the placements. anyone who graduated in 2025/2026 with good placement? or seen any of their friends etc with it? is vit really a very bad option even if it is the last one?
I am a dropper and migratiom certificate was not issued for my year (as far as i know). I have downloaded one from digital locker but they are asking for original. What to do? Do i request one from cbse website?

On reddit all the reviews of vit state that people mostly end up in TCS or sinilar with 3 or 4, 5, 6 lpa. Especially for the last few years. Any seniors from those batches who were placed/saw friends/other students actually get decent placements or is it mostly bad?
I paid the vit hostel fees today but I'm not sure that I want to go through with it since i didnt get 2ac which i wanted. Is there any way for me to still become a dayscholar even if my parents don't live in chennai?
Assuming that money is not a problem (but a small deciding factor) which is a better option?
My 7 year old mixed breed family dog has never been regularly walked in her life because we have a big backyard and my family believes thats enough for her health. I have taken her out on a few walks some have been a success (in terms on minimal pulling + no bad encounters like fighting with a stray dog or slipping out of her harness) and some have not. A few weeks ago we drove her to a park and walked her there and she was amazing during the walk (i was not walking her it was my uncle who she really loves). So i decided to take her out on a walk in the neighborhood and right off the bat as she was outside the door a group of neighborhood boys who were excited and a bit nervous were passing by and one of them spotted her and alerted the others and started to run. She immediately started pulling and lunging towards them but i kept her on my side. They ran but she was still excited so i decided to do a corrective u turn (in the direction of our house) and she just stood her ground and refused to walk and then slipped out of her harness. Thankfully no passing stray dogs appeared (our area has a lot of stray dogs and she's fought with them before [usually initiated by her since she's undersocialized]) but after a bit of growling and chasing she came back home. I have no clue what to do for her. I want her to have safe, normal, enjoyable walks. I have looked into a martingale collar to make the walks escape proof but what should i do in terms of training?
I have a family dog that has been with us her whole life. I was really young when she came but now that we're older i want to give her a better life. She's been on around 10-15 walks in her life with us mostly because she escapes out of her harness and starts running around the neighborhood which has a lot of stray dogs. She's been a couple fights with them as well mostly initiated by her. Some of the walks have been a success if we end it quickly or if she doesnt encounter any stray dogs during it. The one truly long walk she'd been on was around a month ago where my uncle whom she really really loves and she was properly behaved during it even when a stray dog barked at her. The walk was not in our neighborhood we had taken her on a drive there. Today after a long time we decided to take her out on a walk today just for a few minutes since the area was deserted and devoid of any dogs. Right off the bat as we get out of our house a group of small boys were coming from the streets and she starts lunging in their direction (which she has never done before, people aren't usually her trigger its always other dogs) and they started running. So we decided to end her walk there before things became more stressful but when we came back to our door she jumped out of her harness (which she has done before but I'd made sure to keep it firm but not restrictive this time) and started exploring the area on her own. Whenever she runs out of the home without a harness or if somebody accidentally leaves the door open, we just let her roam around a bit as we stand by her side to guard her (and others) and she comes home without much of a fight. This time things took a little bit more time and she was growling a bit at us too when we were nearing her. I have looked into a martingale collar and will be buying it since its supposed to be anti-slip for even the most accomplished escape artists like her but I'm genuinely at a loss for how to help her have walks. Any tips are appreciated. Any training etc that are a pre requisite before going on walks? (My family isn't big on walking dogs since we have a backyard so she wasn't walked when she was a puppy.)
Comedk is my last chance to get a good college. I had my exam on 9th s2. I scored 70 marks. What are the possible ranks/colleges where i may be able to get cse or its adjacent branches for a non karnataka student.

Cse core chennai 3,4
Cse aiml vellore cat 5
Cse aiml chennai cat 3,4,5
Cse ds chennai cat 2 3
Cse ds vellore cat 5
Cse ds vellore cat 4,5
According to last years data i might get cse aiml in chennai cat 5 but since vit might be decreasing their intake i would like to expand my options.
Should i put a lower branch in vellore or chennai in higher category above cse branch cat 1 and 2 in ap and bhopal if fees isnt an issue?
