anyone else's Cat S22 explode in the airplane?
Battery got hot and puffed out the keyboard and physically expanded the plastic, phone deflated when I took the battery out. Regular lithium ion battery it came with. Should I be removing that to fly or did I get a bad phone with like bad terminals or wtf happened? Flight attendants tossed the battery into a flame retardent bag so thats toast (nice of them to dispose of it for me and prevent an emergency). do I need to get a completely new phone now ? The screen displayed the time fine until I pulled the plug so it didn't fry but I have another flight tomorrow and will need to make calls. But also it frightened everybody and im not trying to end up on a list.
