So my friend and I went to CSMT, roamed around for a while, and then went to the Dadar protest. While coming back, we booked two second-class tickets from Dadar to Thane. Heyy I’ve recently read Beneath Magnolia Skies by Mona Chettri ( abt sikkim ) and Shooting the Sun by Nandita Haksar, talks abt manipur history and conflict rise and I found both really insightful.
I’m looking for more book recommendations that explore history, conflict, and lived experiences— from Northeast India or similar regions. I’m open to both non-fiction and story-based narratives.
I’d really appreciate any suggestions. Thank you!!
