U 12 girls competitive

Looking for perspective. I have twin daughters about to be 12. We’ve played in our town club/travel team since they were young. They do skills clinics and camps and play other sports. I almost signed them up for the local big club a few years ago. As I was about to put in credit card info, I came to my senses.
They are good, skilled players. But I think big fish little sea. I coach them currently.
I played d2 in college in an era that is vastly different from today’s landscape (no recruiting, just showed up- and yes I’m an older parent) I’ve since learned in the last years about the youth sports industrial complex Whoa.
My one kid loves loves loves to play. She’s not aspiringq to be a pro. But I think would end up playing in hs and college. I think d1 women’s soccer is not a path for her or her sister (lot of reasons)
She is one of the more skilled kids in our (non-academy) club. Next year she enters middle school (7-8th grades) and the team is middle of the road with coach changes frequently bc the coach ends up being a parent with a kid on the team and leaves when the kid enters hs. we have a good hs team that goes to states but it’s d3. Small town.
Long story short - is it a reasonable trajectory that she does camps/clinics and the middle school- high school route to achieve a goal of non-d1 play.
I feel also dumb asking this bc my kids are both 12 and there’s 1,000,000 variables between now and then. They know they can quit any time.
I just don’t want to miss some window of opportunity at this age My one daughter in particular has a lot of drive to play and I want to honor it to give her opportunities
Sorry for the rambling ….

Service animals

Pretty sure I’m not the first to rant about this ….
I want people who need a service dog to have it and bring it into whatever setting they may need it to provide assistance.
I don’t want people printing some bs fake license off the internet and passing off an animal as a service animal and bringing g them to the clinic and try to tell me it’s a service animal.
We r limited with What we can ask.
Was called a b$&@h today over this. Not the best day…

An impact (small)

I work in primary care. It’s a grind. I work for a big organization for 12 years and feel so unimportant. Just see more patients. I do primary care bc I believe in it - I want to keep your Bp down so you don’t have kidney failure. Help you quit smoking bc of all the damage it causes etc
Saw someone today who I’ve taken care of for like 10 years. He said - “ I still hear your voice in my head about that” and he changed a behavior and continues to adhere to it - from months ago. I’ll take it.
(He’s obese and I told him not to eat during the night. I asked him what would happen if he didn’t have something to eat. Answer - well, nothing, he would just eat in the morning. So he stopped midnight and snacks )

Combined rec/club practices?

Does anyone out there combine age groups for their rec and club teams for practice ? We are a little town and - for some ages - have both rec and travel (my u 12 team plays lowest division for context). We have someone in charge who wants to try to make things more collaborative between both groups. While it sounds nice in theory, I have a hard time with this. Anyone have an experience like this ? Thanks.

U12 girls jersey pulling

We played in a tournament last weekend and there was a lot of jersey pulling. Am I a naive and delicate flower or is it a thing at this age? I was just surprised by it and my kids were thrown off by it (I get that that is the point of doing it)
(for reference we played in lowest division of the tourney and we threw together a team of the willing for the games. It is not our regular team and we are not doing a spring season otherwise)
