UGHHH are these lice 😭😭😭
I have an itchy scalp and dandruff in general although I use a shampoo that helps with that but I really didn’t think much of it when my scalp was beginning to get increasingly itchy which was at least 1-2 weeks ago. I saw a couple of these guys on my blanket and then on my coloring book while I was working on it?? just so weird that I didn’t notice them in my hair first especially with how itchy my scalp has been (particularly the top/front and underneath/at the bottom near my neck). I honestly probably didn’t check my scalp thoroughly enough the first time because I just assumed it was dandruff but after seeing these bugs and doing a second check of my scalp, i’ve noticed the white things in my hair are really sticking to my hair which i read is common with lice eggs. i have long thick hair and this feels like a literal nightmare and im so worried that i may have given lice to the people in my household or at work. ALSO does itching your scalp make it worse? because as hard as i try i just cannot stop myself and am having trouble sleeping because of how extreme the itching has been 😩 ive ordered lice treatment already bc im paranoid and 90% sure this is in fact lice. is there anything i can do in the meantime/during the process of getting rid of these lice to help with this unbearable itching? i love my hair so so much and have finally reached a length i really love after letting it grow out but I am ready to say fuck it all and shave my head bald because of the itchiness 😔
