lash techs / salons please help!

hey so basically I have been going to this local salon for 2 years. I wouldn’t say I go all the time but when I do get lash extensions every few months I go here. She does a really good job and they last longer than any place, I have loved every set, and really like her (shes the owner)

However I booked with a different staff member last Friday, and my lashes were noticeably uneven. I went back for a correction the next day, and instead of adding lashes to the sparse eye she removed from the thicker eye, making my lashes still uneven but on the other eye now. This is what they looked like a few days after the correction. I gave time for them to settle but the thinner (left) eye kept shedding significantly and i noticed some lashes glued to my eyelid. I didnt get them wet for a few days and ive never had this happen so i dont feel its on my end.

i ended up messaging and explaining this and asking for a partial refund, we went back and forth paragraphs after paragraphs cause they kept saying they wont refund me and how its been too long since Ive had the lashes. Then they told me Ive requested multiple refunds and how they do not want me as a client. Ive only ever requested one previous refund a year ago because i got my nails done there and they were quite badly done. Never had an issue when i told them i wasnt happy with the nails.

I did get quite firm/formal, and requested i receive at least 40% back because I paid $120 for lashes that were uneven and messy. They only wanted to refund me 30% which I found unfair and sent another message, they left me on seen but i did get 40% back. I found out today they had also blocked me. I am actually so upset about this all because i have been a returning customer happy with every other set and had a lovely relationship with them. I may have been stern, but I thought they would be understanding or helpful. I feel they didn’t even ask to see the lashes, or apologise for how they turned out. I feel they treated this situation way differently than i expected them to. Why am i made out to be the bad guy? Do they think im lying about this?

I feel upset because although these lashes weren’t good and i wouldn’t go to one of the staff again, i still want to get my lashes done by the owner as hers are good . I have been to other salons and they dont last the way hers do. I feel like i wont find another lash tech like her and i dont know what to do. I feel like i should text her apologising for being harsh and send her a photo saying how i was just disappointed with the set and the way things were handled, and felt a refund was only fair and wish her the best. But then i feel a little angry that i still paid $70 for bad lashes and service and how ive been blocked. I just dont like ending things on bad terms, but I feel they should be the ones apologising to me for this all. I want to add my lashes look 10x worse now and it’s been less than 2 weeks. Most importantly i just hope theres no damage to my natural lashes.

Uneven? Refund?

hi, i have added 4 photos to show them properly. I feel my left eye is a lot more sparse and shorter in length. i don’t like how uneven they are. These are a week old and Ive been for a fix up, but it made it worse as per my old post. Ive asked for a partial refund, my lash salon don’t want to refund me and have told me they no longer want me as a client for requesting a refund. I find this unfair as I paid $120 which is a lot, and because i always use this salon. How much is a reasonable amount you would expect to be refunded? What can i do if they decline.

Are these even? Did my lash tech fix them correctly

hi, i got my lashes done a week ago (full hybrids) $120 nzd, and i felt like my right eye was thinner in the corner so i asked to fix this, they said sure but then i felt like they spend more time on the other eye, i think they removed more from that eye instead of adding more to my thinner eye? She kept squeezing my lashes on the thicker eye with tweezers, it didnt hurt but what was she doing? Would it have damaged my natural lashes, I am mostly worried about the damage if she removed them because i didnt want to remove any. I feel like now the thinner eye is thicker 😅

Do these look good for hybrids? Sorry about the photo i dont want to show my eyes 🤣 its just these were pretty expensive
