Only 8 trays left and bite feels worse!
I started Invisalign in Sept of last year. I had an edge to edge bite and then they did some minor straightening tweaks. I had damage on my two front teeth because of how they hit which finally made me pull the trigger on Invisalign. At first I felt like the progress was good. I had 28 trays. Then I had a set of refinements as expected which is only about 17 or 18. Im supposed to be done in 8 trays and my two front teeth feel like they are hitting worse than ever. I find it really hard to believe that this issue can be resolved this quickly!
I just was in last week and they kept reassuring me that everything looked great and I might not even need another set of refinements. If I feel like it is not corrected enough is there any downside on insisting more refinements? I did this to prevent damage to my front teeth and now I feel like they are getting chipped even more than before every time I eat.
