Cross winds? What’s the max steady and max gusting to where you consider pulling over?

Also please mention if you have the max battery, eAWD and if you have a 400 or a 600 body and maybe what year the vehicle is in case GM made suspension adjustments? I would imagine all of those details have some effect on crosswind susceptibility.

The reason I am asking is that for our 2024 eSprinter (big battery, long body, tall roof) it could not handle anything over a steady 20 mph gusting to 30 mph and you were getting rocked around in the lane on an interstate about 1 foot per each gust. It’s a wide van and it just was dangerous mixing it up with other traffic. I think the rear motor and rear bias to the battery pack made fundamental vehicle dynamics sketchy in those windy conditions like it was wanting to swap ends somewhat. In calm conditions up to 74 mph max speed it feel entirely safe and well controlled.

Find someone who trusts you as much as this guy trusts his bungee cords

The load on the roof rails was floating around in the airflow as we did about 35 mph. I unfortunately could only capture still images after we came to a stop at an intersection and wasn’t able to follow him or the load to its final destination. I’m guessing where his boards ended up and where he and the car ended up were two different spots. Also hoping that piece of plywood didn’t frisbee around into someone’s windshield. That would’ve been a bad day for sure.
