I seem to spend half my week appeasing a managers need to produce reports using whatever new AI initiative they have. I feel like I am in a constant battle to justify my role now despite being a high performer.
Sales is literally the easiest job in the world to track performance on. You make target or you don't, if you don't why and can we fix it.
I'm tired.
Rant over.
Keen to understand the background of anyone who has made the cut for this role or similar.
So I've come to realization that Hermes is the absolute bomb as a deep research assistant for almost anything I throw at it.
The info exists behind a paywall, Hermes will find a way around it!
After it's built a knowledge base if you ask it a question and it doesn't know, it will update it's knowledge base 10x over, update it's skills, and beg your fogiveness!
Ask it to go even deeper before you go to bed, you wake up and it's written better documentation for your product than your entire engineering team!
After spending a week with Hermes, there is no going back...
Edit: I realize now that this sounds like a shill. It's not. I don't actively contribute to Hermes. I'm just stoked it exists!
No rage bait intended. I've convinced myself that a crash is coming some time in the next 12 months and have started to reduce my exposure. This is the first time in my investing "career" that I have the ability (and perhaps knowledge) to prep for a downturn, but I am also curious what other Aussie investors are thinking (if there are still any left in the sub).
* I'm not for a second saying a crash is guaranteed. Just my belief based on my study of historical market crashes and global recession. That and having some detailed knowledge around AI infrastructure as that is the industry I currently work in.
** Yes I realise there is financial hardship out there. There is no need to comment to make me aware of this.
