Hi r/knifemaking - I have a sword that I acquired. It’s nothing super cool. It’s a replica of what looks like a saber. Handles broken and I don’t really have a use for it, but also don’t want to throw it away.

I don’t know anything about knife making, but love looking at all the work posted here.

Can I use an angle grinder to cut this sword up and make a couple knives out of it?
