24” Wheel Giraffe uni

I put together a 24” wheel giraffe. It’s a bill Matthew’s frame and I didn’t have to to any modifications to it. I had unicycle.com build the wheel for me with a nimbus 36h 6 bolt dual sprocket hub and a 24” Dominator 2 rim and 28t sprockets. I put on the nimbus performer cranks that are 32t. I also replaced the seat post and seat with a club style though I might swap the seat out with something with a little more curve. The flat seat when I stop feels like it is going to slip out sometimes. It rides super well and the gear ratio feels really natural. It has the effective wheel size of a 27.5” uni.

Early model mechanic

Does anyone know somebody that works on early model dyna in the Glenwood Springs- Carbondale Colorado area?

My 2005 FXD is having a vibration issue.

When I bought it there was a little vibration. I switched out the motor mounts to some Glide pro mounts and it was absolutely unrideable. Like full on shaking at certain speeds

I tried it all: unbolting all the mounts and the top mount and let it run for like 10 minutes and bolting it back up. Unbolting the exhaust from the mount while it ran. But it didn’t work.

I bought some OEM mounts from Harley and they worked great and the vibrations were about 90% gone. Just today out of nowhere the vibrations came back bad again. I’m out of ideas and would just like a second opinion.

Shift lever help

Need some help with the shift lever on my 2005 Dyna FXDI. Does anyone know of a shift lever that won’t hit the primary? Or a way to make this one come away from the primary at all.

I can’t get it low enough to be comfortable without it catching on the primary. I have a bung king adjustable linkage but it has to be all the way in for my lever to not catch on the primary.
