Got a Milwaukee twins 6.5” pullback risers. Recently noticed that the handlebars are crooked when shown against the top triple tree. The left (red) is further forward than the right (blue). Anyone else have this issue?
For context it’s going on a 2007 street bob.
Any tips of help with installation would be really helpful
I wanna throw some hard bags on my dyna, any suggestions?? Thank you
Picked up this bike at auction for under $2k, know nothing about Dynas as my other bike is a ‘76 FXE and this is an 03 FXDL. Same same. Reading up on Dynas and they all say crack the cam cover and check the cam tensioners. So after a bit of riding, mainly to work and home for a month (15 minute trip) I take the time to replace some rotten rubber including the front and rear motor mounts, took off the exhaust and opened the cam cover and found this. I’m excited it’s not stock and doesn’t need to be replaced but the fact the washer and retaining clip were off and in there just free. So I put it back in and make sure the clip is seated and hopefully it doesn’t happen again.
Let me know if you think I need to do anymore exploring to make sure it didn’t do real damage but I felt around the chain and I didn’t feel anything raised or chipped, the washer looks clean like no damage to it, and there’s only that slight rubbing on the plate, no gouges or deep scratches.
Bikes still up on the lift for a bit, but hopefully I can get it back running Tuesday.
Thanks in advance for any tips.
I had been looking at getting an Indian scout for a while. My brother in law was looking to sell his bike. We had worked out a deal on his 1997 Harley Davidson Dyna FXD. He has replaced the stock motor with a revtec 110 evo.
Took this bike apart 3 years ago. Finally putting it back together. New bars, signals, everything.
But I don't recall what this button was coming out the front with the wiring harness. Can someone help give me some clarity?
EDIT: Thanks for all the replies! I can now say with pretty good certainty that it is either the trip reset or an ejector button :)
Absolutely in love with this ole girl
'15 street Bob, I still need to replace my high rise bar but oh well. Looking to replace the handlebars next, leaning towards Dominator Meathooks at roughly the same height. Anyone with experience with 'em?
Pic of risers and bars on his bike.
Just mounted this knock off road warrior style fairing from AliExpress. I’m pretty impressed. Still need to actually test ride it though
G'day folks, just wondering if anyone has put a Springer front end on their wide glide? I love the look of Springer choppers and have an urge to chuck on this jigger. Cheers
