Hi everyone,
I'm a web developer by trade, and over the years I've also picked up a lot of sysadmin, networking, and security experience.
I've never actually played Minecraft before, but I want to learn by helping out on an existing server. My end goal is to eventually build a server for my little cousin and his friends, so I figured it'd be better to learn from people who already know what they're doing instead of jumping in blind.
I'm happy to help with technical stuff, websites, server management, automation, or whatever else I can be useful with. I don't mind starting small and learning as I go.
My discord has the same id as here; slaughterhousesenpai
All I got is one scene that was removed years ago. If I remember correctly it was called Angela Mao kung fu but it looked way older than her, so my theory is that it was some bootleg vhs from the era of every action star is either Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, or Angela Mao.
Anyway, here's what I remember, it was an indoor fight scene. The movie looked like it was made in the early to mid 80s, maybe I can stretch it and say late 70s. It was this actress again a gang of men, 3 or 4 of them. That actress was wearing a bun like a ballerina, and a blue and white Chinese dress. The gang members are all wearing shirts and pants, their boss was bald and looked like Mark Decascos a little, it's not him because it was way before his time.
I know it's not much but any clue?
Here's what I remember...
It used to play a lot on my national TV roughly between 1998-2002, I suspect it was a Canadian not an American movie because of how often it was shown.
It's about a couple coming from the future to get a boy they claim he's their son, so the plot is about chasing that boy and killing his dad. They also use a device that looks like the makeup blush kit but instead of a mirror there's a screen with a lady telling the user what's about to happen.
I remember one of the scenes (and another reason why I suspect it's Canadian) was like an assassin wearing a hockey team mascot trying to kill the dad. The movie ends with the man from the futuristic couple being like "you don't deserve to be a mother" and shoots her with a laser gun that makes her vanish.
Any clues?
I live in a small town near Dortmund. On the surface, I see a lot of mom-and-pop shops, small and struggling just like any shop of that category nowadays. But I noticed that a big chunk of these shops are actually bought by some company in a big city (Frankfurt, Berlin, etc.) of what it looks like a private equity. Maybe these companies are something else but they look like private equity firms. I know it's not as severe as America but is it happening here too?
So I just finished my vor ort test at Daimler. It was almost the exact test as the online one. After finishing I struggled a little with the small talk with the coordinator, he suggested switching to English, answered my question then I switched back to German till the end of the conversation.
So the question here is, will this encounter hurt my chances?
