1st SFOD-D
I just turned 21, just passed sqt through the seal pipeline like 6 months ago. Haven’t even deployed, finishing up the basic training circuit they give you once reaching your team and I’m assigned a platoon. But I wanna join Delta, I’ve always thought they were the most elite force we have to offer in the U.S. Military but I’ve done all this work to get where I’m at in the navy. Ik it’s been done and currently I don’t meet the minimum qualifications to apply for an invite for delta selection but I wanna make my way over there as soon as I can. It unfortunately falls under the army branch, through JSOC. Do I have to decommission from the navy and into the army just to try the selection? Or am I allowed to tryout while staying in the navy when the time comes. Hesitant to ask superiors for obvious reasons, thanks guys
