My mother in law passed away this past spring and we are slowly going thru her things. One of them is an iPad mini. We do not know her password to get into it, but I assume it will be under my father-in-laws apple id. How can you restart it to get to a screen where Apply id info can be entered?
Planning on a new build and going to be off grid..... There are systems out there that seem to be a "gimmick", such as the Ecoflow systems. Very "plug and play", but how are they in the real world?
I am going to be off grid!!!! A new home build in south eastern Ontario. Hydro is not available on the road so this is my dream come true. 2.5 acres, open field to the west and south. I want to do solar and a vertical axis wind turbine (lots of wind in the winter) and for heating and cooling a geothermal system. I will have a back-up generator in case my battery goes low. My solar I will do a fixed mount, but have it so the angle can change for summer and winter exposures.
Who do people recommend for such a system?
My daughter's 2012 VW Golf TDI has a toasted DPF........ toasted enough that it is in limp mode. I have ordered a delete kit which I plan on doing in the next week, BUT she lives 2 hours away. We will swap cars while I do this.....Can I drive it the 2 hours to get it to my house? OR could I disconnect the down-pipe from the turbo and drive it....OR should I get it towed?
