Camera settings help

Hi I'm pretty new with like 10ish hours of playtime so far. I'm still trying to get my camera settings dialed.

Overall they feel pretty good but when I do whips the front of my bike disappears and I'm having a tough time gauging how far to bring it back straight for landing. Is this common and most people just go off feel?

My current setting are
FOV 115
Tilt 10%
Pitch 15%
Corner anticipation OFF
Lock to bike OFF

Is there something I'm missing?

Unsure of bat exposure while cycling

I have read the FAQ.

Yesterday I was cycling around sunset and something got into my hood while I was rolling. I could hear some kind of screetching sound as I panicked to knock whatever was in my hood out.

Later when I got home I looked up videos of bats making sounds and some of them sounded just like what was in my hood. The thing though is I never 100% could confirm it was a bat.

Today I went to urgent care and told them what happened and they gave me the PEP and HRIG shots. What are the chances that there was a bat trapped in my hood on a bike ride and it actually bit me though without me feeling it? It just seems like such a 1 in a billion chance. I'll continue getting the follow up shots, but I feel a bit silly that I'm going through all of this and I can't even confirm for sure that a bat touched me.

Road Group Ride with Steel Gravel Bike

Yesterday I participated in the first group ride of the year for one of the local road bike clubs.

I didn't really know what to expect but my fastest bike is a steel endurance bikepacking type gravel bike.

I went with the slowest group and got dropped roughly 2 miles in. I wasn't dead last there were a few people I could keep up with but it definitely hit my ego a bit.

Now I'm wondering if I was on a proper road bike it maybe I could keep up with them a bit. Usually on my setup I can average 13-15mph depending on route. I saw on Strava that a lot of the front guys for the slow group had an average of 17-18.

Do you guys think I should be buying a whole new bike? My other idea is to get some narrower tires. Currently running 50mm G One RS. But im also worried that my 500mm handlebars make the aero situation way worse.

EDIT: Thanks for the feedback everyone. It sounds like the consensus is I could make marginal gains with optimizing my setup but I should really focus on making myself fitter. If I'm going to spend money, maybe tires but nothing else for now.
