Machine (as in Writers) should have shown Harold "What If Nathan never built the Irrelevant Protocol?" in Season 5 Episode 12 ".exe"

Not sure what would have been the alternate future if Nathan never builds Irrelevant Protocol.

There are couple of things that would change for sure, Share your theories on what or how would the timeline change.

Edit : Couple of important things to consider in alternate timelines (HR, Decima, Samaritan)

Here is how Instant Mega Evolve to Level 2/3/4 Energy Requirements works

TL;DR

- You need twice the Mega Energy to do Instant Mega 2/3 Evolution compared to doing daily Mega Evoltion.

====================================================================================================================================================================================

First some basics on Mega Energy Required to reach level 1/2/3/4

- You need to mega evolve it once using initial cost of 100/200/300/400 based on the pokemon's individual requirements.

- Once a pokemon is mega evolved first time, it can be freely Mega evolved and increase it's mega level if you are willing to wait-out the rest period.

- Level 1 Mega Pokemon needs 7 days of rest, Level 2 Mega Pokemon needs 5 days of rest, Level 3 Mega Pokemon needs 3 days of rest, Level 4 Mega Pokemon needs 1 day of rest.

- That means if you are do not wish to spend any more mega energy for already mega evolved pokemon and wants to do it for free, you need to wait through rest period and it takes over 160 days to reach level 3 Mega.

- Also You can only increase Mega Evolution's level once a day for each pokemon. That means if your Pokemon reaches Level 1 today (Say Monday), you can't reach level 2 until you do 7 more Mega evolution on 7 different days. (Until Next Monday if you were to spend Mega Energy daily to increase it's mega level)

- How much Mega Energy is required for each subsequent Mega Evolution without rest period if you were to do it daily? From Level 1 to Level 2, it requires 20% of original Mega energy (100/200/300/400). From Level 2 to Level 3, It requires 10% of original Mega Energy (100/200/300/400)

Now you have basic understanding of Mega Evolution and It's mega Energy requirements, Let's understand how You can instantly reach Max Mega Level (or any Mega Level) in a single day and how energy calculation works.

- If you wish to reach Max Mega Level (which is only available for Malamar, Dragonite and Victreebel), you need 5000 Mega Energy Once you reach Level 3 Mega.

- If you were to do free route of Mega Evolution, you need 160 days to reach Mega Level 3.

- If you were to spend extra Mega Energy and do daily Mega Evolution, then you need 30 days to reach Mega Level 3. This would require below amount of Mega Energy :

Initial Mega Energy : 100 , Total Mega Energy Required over 30 days (including first mega evolution) : 460

Initial Mega Energy : 200 , Total Mega Energy Required over 30 days (including first mega evolution): 920

Initial Mega Energy : 300 , Total Mega Energy Required over 30 days (including first mega evolution): 1380

Initial Mega Energy : 400 , Total Mega Energy Required over 30 days (including first mega evolution): 1840

- Based on above understanding, Now if you want to reach Mega Level 3 (Say Rayquaza) in a single day (once your pokemon has been mega evolved at least once), You should requires 1840 Mega Enegry total, right? NOPE.... NIANTIC HAS MADE IT LITTLE BIT HARDER.

- If you want to reach any Mega Level in single day, you would need almost double the amount of Mega Energy required compared to doing remaining daily Mega Evolution. Here remaining is operating key word. So lets understand it with an example.

- Say tomorrow If one last Mega evolution is pending of Rayquaza, then it would require 40 Mega Energy. But if you want to do it today, it would require 80 Mega Energy.

Check the screenshot of my Mega Rayquaza which was mega evolved just now and it needs one more mega evolution which requires 40 Mega Energy if I were to do it tomorrow, or I can reach Mega Level 3 today If I spend 80 Mega Energy.

So How much Mega Energy do you need for any Pokemon to reach it's Mega Level 3 in a single day? Here is the snapshot of energy requirements

Remote Trade Pokemon should be visible from Best Friends, not once you reach forever friends.

I had a friend who became lucky when we reached best friends. Since we were lucky, I worked towards being forever friends for lucky trade as well.

Once I reached forever friends 2-3 weeks ago, I have been checking their remote trade Pokémons on daily basis.

They have most basic Pokémons listed for remote trades that too without legacy moves or backgrounds or shinys…. like Charizard, Blastoise, Stufful

There are no regionals nor legendaries/UB etc.

It feels like wasted time and energy to reach forever friends.

If I had seen their list of Pokémons earlier, I would have removed them from the start and not waste 90 days. And the trainer is level 75, so it’s not like they are casual players with new accounts.

Plus there is no way to reach out to them (I did try campfire but no response)

It’s frustrating 😠😠😠😠
