Montenegro Coastal Recommendations!
Hi! My husband and I are thinking about visiting Montenegro in July of 2027. Since it will be hot, we definitely want to stay in/visit a coastal city on the water. We both want time to relax on a beach, be by the water and enjoy sunset views, but we’re also looking for somewhere rich in culture with plenty to do. For some background, we didn’t love Santorini because, although the sites are beautiful and the food was delicious, it felt very much like a tourist trap with little to no local culture (no hate, we enjoyed our time - just loved mainland Greece more!). We’re hoping to find a destination that offers that mix of sun and water, along with culture, great food, and historical sites. Is there a city or area you would highly recommend, and are there any places you’d suggest we steer clear of? Thank you so much!!!
