Longest I’ve gone seizure free in a long time

I’ve been having seizures for 27 years. It’s usually like 3-4 focal seizures per week and a tonic clonic every other month. Ever since I quit smoking weed and drinking alcohol, no seizures. Didn’t quit both at the same time, been without weed for 2 months, without alcohol for 3 weeks. Still had some seizures while sober from weed but still drinking. Sobriety has saved me. Even if it’s hard, family still drinking friends still smoking, I gotta take it and go for my optimal state.

Anyone else replace weed with alcohol?

I’ve done this before and I hate myself for doing it. I’ve tried quitting weed multiple times and always ended up relapsing after a couple months. And every time I stopped weed, I started drinking a lot more. Instead of regularly maybe one glass of wine every night with dinner becomes a couple cocktails and then some wine and then some beer. I’m 2 weeks weed sober now but drinking way too much. If I’m on my own and bored at night I open a bottle of beer. Alcohol goes back in my family pretty far so that ain’t good. I want to get myself to full sobriety from both substances and it’s not easy.
