Tohickon Valley Park, Bucks County, PA. I grew up in popups, but this is our first time owning one! The Rockwood 1640LTD is a recent upgrade from our ‘77 Scamp 13, which we’ve outgrown with the arrival of our second child. We are loving the extra space!

Want to add some front stabilizers and a portable solar setup, and would love to hear other must-have upgrades!

Towing with a PHEV has been great, smooth and steady. The RAV4 has a 2,500lbs tow capacity, but the hitch weight is where we’re really tickling the limits. Planning to upgrade to a LiFePO battery to lighten the load, but did toss it on a scale and we’re almost 10% under. Imagine i’ll get a knock from the tow police but I’m comfortable with the limits.

Hey all, we're looking to buy a 2021 Rockwood Freedom 1640LTD FD and on our first inspection found this staining around where the water line comes up to the sink. The seller later sent some image from where the line comes in and goes up to the sink. Not sure if the black is mold or what, but we have some trauma from a mold-laden fiberglass trailer project and we're not looking to repeat that!

Any thoughts on this model otherwise?
